Third-party notifications
October 19, 2026 - Solera/Virta Disclosure - Blue Shield of California (Blue Shield) received notification from Solera Health, Inc. (Solera) of a cyber incident involving Blue Shield member data maintained by Virta Health (Virta), a former subcontractor of Solera’s that provided health services to Blue Shield members. Solera is a vendor of Blue Shield’s that delivers a select collection of healthy lifestyle programs, tools, and applications. At this time, there is no evidence that Blue Shield’s systems were affected by this incident. For more information, click here.
