Disease prevention and emergency preparedness are crucial to improving the health and healthcare of Californians. The California Public Health Department launched the Public Health Network Information Exchange Innovation Institute (PHNIX II) to advance practical, technology-enabled solutions to address California’s public health challenges. As a founding partner, Blue Shield of California’s initial work will focus on closing gaps in childhood vaccination and helping more children across the state receive the care they need.
