Blue Shield of California Launches Spanish News Center to Inform Nonprofit Health Plan’s News and Initiatives to Hispanic Audiences

LOS ANGELES (March 5, 2019) – Blue Shield of California announced today it has launched the Spanish-language News Center for important news and feature stories about our new healthcare innovations, health policy reforms, wellness initiatives and our investments in the community.

Blue Shield launched , available at es.news.blueshieldca.com, to help Spanish-language journalists learn more about the company. The media will see in-language news stories, fact sheets, video interviewsand press releases on the site.

“The new Spanish News Center will allow reporters and key stakeholders in California’s vibrant Hispanic community find content in Spanish on the latest health information and updates about how we are serving their community,” said Kimberley Goode, senior vice president of External Affairs. “Our team is looking forward to enhancing our service this important and fast growing community and expanding the dialogue on how to reduce health costs, enhance quality and provide access to all residents of the state.”
