Blue Shield of California announces Aliza Arjoyan as Vice President of Provider Network Management

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. (October 31, 2017) --- Aliza Arjoyan has joined Blue Shield of California as vice president of Provider Network Management. She leads the provider network management team and is responsible for overseeing the health plan’s provider contracting strategies, provider relations and ACO and Medicare network expansion.

Arjoyan has more than 25 years of heath care network management experience. She most recently served as California and Hawaii field vice president of Network Management at Humana. In that role, she was responsible for managing Humana’s Medicare provider networks in the two states.

Prior to joining Humana, Arjoyan held contracting management positions at SCAN Health Plan and ValueOptions in Long Beach, Calif.

“Aliza has a track record of leading strong teams that deliver results,” said Arminé Papouchian, Blue Shield’s senior vice president of Provider Network Management. “Her talent, reputation and expertise working with providers will help Blue Shield achieve its nonprofit mission of helping to ensure Californians have access to high-quality health care that’s sustainably affordable.” Arjoyan will report to Papouchian and will be based in Blue Shield’s Woodland Hills office.
