Bergman previously served as director of Specialty Programs and Core Service Management, and led the transition of Blue Shield’s Core customers with 51–100 employees to Small Group accounts in order to comply with Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) change to the small business definition. She first joined Blue Shield as Director of Specialty Sales in 2008.
Prior to joining Blue Shield, Bergman managed Northern California specialty sales for the Large Group Business Unit at Anthem Blue Cross and was a consultant for Employee Benefits at Standard Insurance.
