Shayna Schulz Joins Blue Shield of California as Vice President of Customer Care

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 2, 2015) --- Shayna Schulz has joined Blue Shield of California as vice president of Customer Care. She will be responsible for managing operational strategy for all of Blue Shield’s contact centers, delivering on the company’s promise of a high-quality customer experience.

Most recently, Schulz served as vice president of Customer Service at Allstate, where she led the company’s 2,000-person customer contact center organization. Schulz has worked in global organizations and across multiple functions including media relations, crisis communications and consumer research.

“Throughout her career, Shayna has proven her ability to lead people and draw insights from multiple customer touch points,” said Todd Walthall, senior vice president of Customer Experience. “Her knowledge, skill and experience will help us deliver the kind of high-quality, consistent experience our customers deserve.” Schulz will report to Walthall.
