Fields brings nearly 30 years of health plan experience to Blue Shield, most recently as senior vice president of the mid-America region at Aetna, where he led complex market segments with more than $8 billion in annual revenue. Additionally, he has Blue Cross and Blue Shield experience, including 10 years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia.
